Two weeks before the Trump administration tried to blackmail Anthropic into killer robots and mass surveillance, Rutger Brennan took a break from slaying Davos and put together this very short three-minute video about how cancelling CHat GPT could actually help take down the Trump administration.

I know there are a lot of us struggling to keep up with the news right now. And often feeling incredibly guilty for not being able to make sense of it, never mind do something to help make it better.

So, I am leaving this article here super short and sweet. A legitimate three-minute opportunity to make a difference.

I don’t like repeating myself. I don’t normally believe in silver bullets. And I personally loathe cancel culture. But we have quite the dragon right now breathing fire down upon our world. He is being accused of accused of s3xually abusing a child, covering it up, and distracting from his crimes with an illegal war in Iran - and doing all of it while sounding more and more like a suicidal death-cult leader in charge of the most powerful nuclear arsenal in the world.

Given the circumstances, we need to do everything we can. Because for this very brief moment in time, there is a soft spot revealing itself over the breast of our dragon.

Smaug is bellowing. It’s worth the shot.

So make the small sacrifice, if you can, and let your arrow fly.
